Key West, FL. - is the southernmost city in the United States. With Duval Street, and energetic strip of shops, bars and cafes.
Angels Diner (Palatka). The oldest diner in Florida, with curb service, booths and a long counter inside. Great breakfast and lunch for a loyal local following.
Amelia Island Lighthouse, FL. - built in 1838 is the state's oldest lighthouse. Few structures in Florida boast as long and intriguing heritage.
Britton Hill is the highest natural point in Florida, with a summit elevation of 345 feet above mean sea level ... and the lowest state highpoint in the US.
The World’s Smallest Police Station is located in Carrabelle FL and a Forgotten Coast icon.
The Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse is located in Central Florida. It is the tallest (175 ft) lighthouse in the state and one of the tallest in the US.
Wakulla Springs State Park is the source of one of the world's largest & deepest freshwater springs. It was the location of Tarzan and other early films.
Old Town St. Augustine - the oldest city in Florida, it is also the oldest continuously occupied settlement of European origin in the United States.
The Railway Depot, built in 1858, is the oldest brick railroad station in Florida. It is one of three surviving railroad depots built prior to the start of the Civil War.
Hurricane Michael's hit Mexico Beach in 2018 as a destructive tropical cyclone being the first Cat 5 hurricane to strike the US since Andrew in 1992.
The Walton-DeFuniak Library was established in 1886. It is the second oldest in Florida, with only the library in St. Augustine considered as being older.

Fort Pickens: fort was completed in 1834 and was one of the few forts in the South that remained in Union hands throughout the American Civil War.
