Chipley - Falling Waters

"Falling Waters Sink is a 100-foot-deep, 20-foot-wide cylindrical pit into which flows a small stream that drops 73 feet to the bottom of the sink. The water's final destination is unknown. Even when sunshine prevails, the view of this 100-foot-deep, 20-foot-wide cylindrical sinkhole with steep limestone walls that disappear into a cave at the bottom is a spectacle sure to provide you with amazing views to photograph." As part of our travels to Ginger's Happy Place, we have stopped several times looking for a 'Niagara Falls' spectacular. Well, don't hold your breath. The State Park is very nice and the short walk on a boardwalk is easy. However if one goes after heavy rains, tropical storms - whatever, we have only seen a 'tinkle' (not me the falls). However, another unique location we have seen together and love it.
